Changelog

Communicate updates

Changelog lets you publish and share updates. Group updates into topics, write entries, and publish them to a page your team or customers can read and subscribe to. Use it for release notes, internal announcements, or a public-facing product changelog.

Use cases

Publish a public product changelog

Who: A product or marketing team

You create a public topic, write an entry for each release, and publish it. Customers visit the changelog page and subscribe, so they're notified the next time you ship — no separate email tool required.

Keep internal release notes for your team only

Who: An engineering or ops lead

You set a topic's visibility to workspace-only, so its entries are visible to your team and no one outside it. Use it for internal change announcements that shouldn't be public.

Run several changelogs for different audiences

Who: A team with multiple products or sites

Each audience gets its own topic — Website Updates, Product, API — with its own visibility, categories, and subscriber list. Readers follow only the topics they care about.

Draft, review, then publish

Who: Editors preparing announcements

Editors write an entry as a draft, refine it, and publish when it's ready. Categories keep entries organized, and the published page always shows the latest first.
